Well if this isn't just about the Jinnai-est Jinnai moment I've ever seen, I don't know what might be. He's got that fist raised, cackling away in that shrill, psychotic way of his, and he's out to Rule The World, thank you much!

What's intensely cool about this cel, aside from the obvious goodness of its lines being almost perfect after 10 years, and its having an original matching background, is the *original* layout sketch that came with it. What a rarity! It's fascinating to see the small but ever so effective change in Jinnai that happened between the layout and the final product. Note how "normal" his eyes appear in the layout. For the final cel, though, they narrowed his pupils down to beady little pinpoints, nearly rolled back into his head. What a perfect way to portray his almost-over-the-edge-ness!
